Hello, everyone. So i bought an iphone 12 around, 3 days ago. Switched from android to iphone. I love this phone so far but i'm unsure. So when i'm playing games i feel like my phone is getting lukewarm after a while, i always worry about stuff getting warm. I think it's normal but best making sure x) thank you.

It's normal. To run a game the phone's CPU and GPU generally need to run at a high load (depending on the type of game). That naturally produces heat. On a phone with a metal body you'll usually feel that more than with a plastic phone, because the heat is transported away from its insides more quickly (which is actually good for the SoC)

@Helpful Tech Witch So it's normal if the screen is getting lukewarm aswell? Sorry about that, i forgot to mention the screen i have a case on, so it's hard to feel how warm the chassis itself is. And thank you for the quick response 😄

Yep, the screen has a lot of surface area so it’s used for heat dissipation like the frame

@Helpful Tech Witchty so much! I really appreciate the responses 🙂

I would get into the habit of quoting people when responding. It'll make the thread cleaner, and make it more defined to what you're responding to, particularly if a particular user has made multiple posts within a thread.
