depends on a lot of things. 1.5V is recommended which does not necessarily mean 1.65 wont work as well. Usually this high voltage memory only causes problems with overclocking you cpu. But as you have a H77 chipset you are not going to oc anyways.

You should be fine.

i hate double posting but edit is kinda brokenish still but anyway to add on to what joel said you can under volt but if you do go that route though you shouldnt need to make sure you run memtest for each individual stick and all the sticks together as long as everything passed your good to go :)

well you shouldnt need to undervolt at all test it first if it doesnt post and boot into windows then go into your bios and set it for 1.5v and test stability with memtest

the bios can boot without ram 0_o

no sorry i worded that a little off. install the ram and try and boot up into windows without changing anything, its likely that the board will support 1.65 volt ram no problem, my dads ram is 1.65 but the mobo lists 1.5 being supported. if anything it will underclock that ram for you and if thats the case all youll need to do is go into your bios set it for the proper frequency for example my dads board sets his for 1333mhz but its 1600mhz memory, if he enables xmp it runs at 1600mhz with the 1.65 voltage no issues
