What makes a case perfect for you? Weather it be, how it looks, how it sounds, its features, or what ever else floats your boat?

650d nuff said, great cable management flexible watercooling options and it has a very nice clean elegant look to it :) love the 800d and 900d of course but 650d is my favorite cause its not so huge... im thinking about selling my c70 and getting a 650d actually

Cable managment is important to me, along with great airflower. Lots of room too.

Well to be honest I got the Corsair 600T for the look of it. It just so happen to have great cable management, good air flow, and whole lot of kick a$$ options.

I have the same case, I agree completely, just wish the usb 3.0 port was a header, not a pass through.

yeah but there is an adapter to make it usb 3.0 header to usb 3.0 adapter. That would work for you.

Size: not too much, not too little.

The correct amounts of 5.25" bays. Either 0, 1, 3, 4, 6, 7 or 9. Nothing in between is acceptable. Cases with 2, 5 or 8 bays are automatic dealbreakers.

Air cooling optimized (I hate water cooling with a passion)

Doesn't look all teenager-y like Corsair/ NZXT tends to do, or all tractor-y like Silverstone (not counting the Fortress which is awesome)

I don't like windows, but if a case has one it better not be terrible quality plastic. Usually it is :(

Quirky looks is better than elegant is better than plain is better than aggressive/ immature is better than wacky.

Cable management options!

Hidden front I/O is a bonus.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

WoW!!! I don't think I can justify spending 1200$ on a case. Thats a 2 week paycheck I'd have to save.

For me what makes the perfect case is a good balance in design and build quality with cost, size and weight factors along with personal tastes such as style and a windowed side panel option. My favorite cases include the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2, Bitfenix Prodigy, NZXT Tempest 410 Elite and the Corsair Vengeance C70. My current favorite case is the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2.

I'm using the Silverstone Fortress FT02 and it is very nearly perfect.

It has sound deadening, it's very good looking, and the vertical motherboard orientation is my favourite feature in the world.

The only thing it's lacking is an extra 5mm behind the mobo try for cable management. apart from that though it's amazing.

So that would be my list:

1. clean looks

2. quality construction

3. rotated mobo layout

4. cable management

5. I do like a big case with lots of room to work in

6. when there's a removable mobo tray I do appreciate it, but it's not a requirement.

Clean/sleek looks.

Large window.

LOADS of cable tidying options

possibility of water cooling

quiet

removable dust filters

at least 2X 120/140mm roof fans

The best case I've found to match my needs is the 650D as seen here! ;)

Having a clean aesthetic and some kind of modularity such as removable hard drive cages and different options of fans. Also having decent removable fan filters or at least filters on the intakes are great to have, makes maintenance much easier, I have a Fractal Midi and its great!
