how many pci slots?

hey guys i have a case which has 4 pci slots and supports matx mobos, now i am running an mini itx mobo but i want to go crossfire and want to add an matx board but i am confused here

they give space for pci 1 after the first 16x slot so i will have 2 r9 290x's there will they fit in 4 slots? if no please can you suggest any matx mobo which does thanks

It'll work on either board, just put one card in the first slot and the second card in the third slot.

but my case has only 4 expansion slots? still? r9 290x dual slot card

Each card takes up 2 slots, 4 total. They'll fit.
