Upgrading: what's my next step?

Upgraded some components very recently (CPU, GPU, case and monitor), so I'm wondering if there's anything else I could (or should) upgrade to finish my build.

Maybe NVME storage or better ram but neither are essential. Your build seems pretty balanced otherwise.

Come on man!  It's not all about the box!

 

Also, it's 2022 and damn near 2023.  There should be NO spinning drives in a mid to high tier machine. Period.  Lose the HDD.

200eur+ for an old 1TB  SATA SSD? That's a joke/scam you can get a 2TB NVMe for less!!

Absolutely - I was using my PC in a less-than-ergonomic temporary station for less than a week and it screwed up my shoulder for a few days.

Thanks for your concern, but everything you mentioned is subjective, and I'm pretty happy with what I have, fortunately. DIfferent bodies, different needs. I was referring to the guts of the build itself

 

You're right about the HDD though, but I only use it for backups and stuff I don't need to open/run quickly. Might get a new SSD later, but for my use case 1TB is more than enough. With gigabit speeds I can just uninstall and install stuff in minutes. If I get a nice deal on one I'll definitely grab it!

I got it for 100€ almost 4 years ago. And even if it was 200€, prices aren't the same everywhere and the economy is different in other parts of the world.

I got it for 100€ almost 4 years ago. And even if it was 200€, prices aren't the same everywhere and the economy is different in other parts of the world. 

I mentioned the other parts because the build is great except for the HDD, which you explained.

 

So I have nothing to suggest.
