I think I have the worst luck in the world. This is my first time building a PC. And I am using the Corsair 860 Power Supply and the cables that came with it are not marked CPU anywhere. However, I think I have narrowed down which cables I should be using. I am trying to power the Asus Rampage IV Black edition. I don't know where to plug what! here is some pics of the cables there is two of them.

You need both. They are called 4+4 pin CPU connectors. Your ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition needs both the large connector (8x2 pins) and one of the smaller ones (2x2 pins). It does not matter which of the small ones you use, as long as it fits in the connector without needing any force.

But where do I plug them in on PSU. They wont fit as 8 they because the one 8 pin is in the other motherboard the other 8 pin side is divided into 2..

Oh that was one cable i see! OK Plug the two smaller ones into the big 8x2 pin connector at the top of your mobo. The two small plugs just go in side by side. Then the large single 8x2 pin connector plugs into your PSU where it is labeled "6+2 PCI-E & 4+4 CPU"

those are on the bottom right when looking at the modular interface of your PSU, just plug it in there.
