Hard Drive Cages Blocking Airflow?

I have a Thermaltake Overseer RX-I case and it has 5 hard drive cages. Since I'm only using 1 hard drive, should I keep or remove the cages? It's kinda blocking my airflow.

If you can remove them and you got no use for  them. Do it  :lol:

Mount the HDD to the bottom of the case

Personally I rip all of that stuff out of my cases for better airflow and mount my hard-drives with brackets.

 

The two cases I currently have I even machined with a Dremel because the fan apertures were poorly designed and obstructed the outer diameter of my case fans.

 

Edit: Bare in mind you can keep that stuff to re-fit it if you change your mind. Just because you remove it doesn't mean you have to throw it away.  :unsure:
