Can you use a go pro as a webcam?

So I'm too lazy to buy a webcam and I have a go-pro HD Hero3 laying around. I was curious if you could set it up to be a webcam used for Skype and live streaming? And how if you know?

Seems like you can, although it isn't as good as it looks (I mean, no 1080p and stuff).

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

I don't care about quality if it works, theoretically you would think you can with tinkering but I could be wrong
