What to do with extra heads of split cable

Hi there,

I'm planning on building a PC containing a Corsair RM1000x and a 3090ti.

I've read that I should use 3 separate PCIE 8 pin connectors instead of using split cables so that's all cool.

But the only cables that come with the PSU are split to have 1 head going into the PSU splitting into 2 'output' heads.

What should I do with the heads that aren't getting plugged into the 3090ti? Can they be left free to dangle or touching the case?

They can be left hanging around.
