Recommendations with Power Supply and GPU

Hey Everyone!

 

I am currently seeking some recommendations. My current rig is a Ryzen 5 3600x 16GB DDR4 Corsair vengeance, 1050ti, and a Corsair 500w power supply.

I was thinking of upgrading to 2060, and I was wondering if it would be good to also upgrade my power supply or even if I should go with a different card.

I am looking for recommendations for power supplies and GPUs.

how old is your psu and what model is it specifically?

a good quality 500w psu will be more than capable for a ryzen 5 3600x and a 2060 SUPER and even leave comfortable wiggle room 🙂

Since 850 or 750 PSUs in Gold are fairly cheap I'd just upgrade depending on how old your original one is. Since GPUs are getting more and more power hungry it may save you a upgrade later. If you can wait though I would. A 500W is fine. Not optimal but fine depending on rating.
