BF3

REULINI

Hey everyone! I decided to create this topic so we can all talk about the best fps ever (no need for discussion here hehe), share our insane histories and post screenshots. Also, share your nickname and clan (if you have) so we can all play together some day. My nickname is r3uz0r and I usually play on european servers.

Btw, if your clan is recruting please say so, I'm looking for one to participate in CEVO

Do you guys think Premium is worth the money?

If you really enjoy the game, then go for it. I bought Premium because I knew I was going to buy all the DLCs anyways, and it saves a bit of money. Honestly, all the other Premium perks (dogtags, assignments, etc.) are just meh.

Otherwise, just buying select DLCs is fine. The new Aftermath maps are a lot of fun. I also like Close Quarters because it's fast paced and adds some nice weapons. Armored Kill is alright, but you can skip this one.

I agree 100% with Jonny. The worst dlc is definitely armored kill, tho it can be fun if you are really into vehicles. Imho, aftermath is top1 (xbow is just awesome), tied with back to karkand. I also just bought the premium 'cause I was going to buy all the dlc anyway, so why not save a few euros ^^ just watch some videos on youtube on aftermath, you will be amazed, believe me

Premium is definitely worth the money if you like Battlefield 3. :D

Premium is only worth it if you get it on the sale when its half price.

I got premium for $47NZD which is like, $20USD, It contained all the DLC and the original game. Plus it was cheaper than just the normal game. I love all the DLC, and BF3 is an amazing game and has hooked me after 10 minutes.

Yeah bf3 is great and all but if you get a medic train on your team its almost always an insta-win (from the matches I've played), and yes premium is worth it if you feel like you enjoy the game enough.

Premium is a really interesting discussion topic. At it's usual price of $49.99 (I think that's right), it really isn't worth it. If you already have the Back to Karkand Expansion pack, keep in mind that you've already paid for one of the expansion packs. Furthermore, the only good expansion pack that has come out is Aftermath. Armoured Kill is absolute rubbish and Close Quarters gets boring pretty quickly. The Premium content drops such as special dog tags or whatever are complete rubbish. If you're a true Battlefield fan that wants to experience the entire package, then go ahead and get premium. If you're the type of guy who plays once a fortnight, then it might not be worth it. I myself am a Battlefield fanatic so I had no option but to buy Premium ;).

I only play the stock maps and Karkand cuz I'm a BF2 junkie. When Premium is on sale again, I might pick it up. Speaking of which, I just finished playing like 5 hours on CWM Conquest. (Hardmode or go home)

Battlefield 2142 > Battlefield 2 > Battlefield 3

My opinion...

The thing that really ticks me off in BF3 is the fact that when you jump behind cover, the bullets may still hit you.

Quite like BF3, although there are still some elements that need to be worked on. Armoured Kill maps imo are too big and the clan I am part of tend to agree with this. (Doing a 15 jog to a flag to get killed and do it all again gets a bit tedious). Quite like the newest DLC but im struggling to see what the point of bikes are in End Game???

As a reply to the other comment.

He means poor net code, not being able to shoot trough objects.

Although I would argue this is realistic and adds to the gameplay. Jumping behind a wooden table isnt going to save you from a rifle in the real world!

I meant like running behind a giant concrete wall and still getting shot AFTER you're behind it

The only map I enjoy in Armored Kill is the snow one, and has to be rush. The others are just boring

I suck at BF3, but I widely like it over the other new shooters to date. I really enjoy watching Treble318 on TwitchTV, he's 5th on the leader board on PC for MVP with 4,216 MVP wins.

I did like BF3 for a while, I had it for console first then bought it for PC. I also bought Premium, but after buying it I don't play it as much anymore. It's still fun for the random day I want to play it though.

Why do you quote yourself?

Used to be a huge fan of Battlefield but god awful netcode and excessive suppression killed it for me. It didn't bother me at first until Demize99 raised the suppression effect. Now my rounds completely disappear into thin air. No thanks.

I requested instead of DoubleXP, to give us 1/2 suppression, to no avail. Oh well, back to Planetside 2.

Feel free to add me if you like, I'm sure I'll get an hour or two in when End Game comes out. R3CLAIMED
