USB-C magnetic cable

I have tried a few magnetic cable adapters and it seems they all have the magnet phone side. I work in a machine shop and tossed out the adapters to match the cables within an hour of work. Are there any options where the cable is the magnetized section instead of the adapter that fits in the port? Just trying to protect my charging port without the hassle of rubber plugs.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but all the magnetic cables I have seen that weren’t apple MagSafe were from aliexpress. There are two kinds that I have seen one is round and power only with only two “wires” inner and sleeve.  The other type was for microUSB2 data, and had a bar shape.  I have seen more modern variants of that which had the option of USBC, microUSB2, and miniUSB2 via simply putting on different ends.  I’ve never bought one though, so I haven’t explored them much.  It is possible they were power only I suppose.  I suggest perusing aliexpress.  If someone makes one, it’s there.  If nobody makes one there might be a reason why.  USBC is orientation agnostic because it tests which wires are connected to what and simply swaps as needed.  Perhaps a magnet throws a monkey wrench in that.  I don’t know.
