Ssd nvme m.2 asic controller temp

Yo this sensor is reading 71c which seems hot for a drive to me 

where as the memory Modular’s are 45c

 

this is after a few hours of video editing and then jumped in Spider-Man for a hour 

-13600kf 

- 4000 32gb ram 

-4070ti super duper

For the controller it's fine and normal to get warm with heavy use.

The flash memory also doesn't mind higher temperatures.

How warm is too warm

Most controller ICs are rated for 85c but there's rarely any reason they couldn't handle more.

No need to worry about it, if the temperature is too much, most controllers will throttle (reduce write speeds) to stay within their acceptable temperature range.
