is PSU cooling important
Go to solution
Solved by manikyath,
yes and no.
psu cooling is important, no, putting a different fan in it is a HORRIBLE idea.
- it's a waste of money
- it doesnt change a thing
- the fan is probably soldered
- if you have no idea how to deal with high voltage electronics opening a power supply is potentially VERY dangerous.
if you want to do something useful with the noctua fan
- flip it
- put it in your case, there's plenty of odd tricks you can do with an extra fan to improve temps.
