Alright folks, lets get a huge Unique Mods thread going. The goal: Get this thread Sticky'd on top due to the large size & great content!

I've skimmed through LTT and found nothing of the sort. I'm not talking about random threads with cool mods, and I also don't mean just full case mods....

I mean THE thread of unique mods to provide inspiration & teach you how to do your own.

This will consist of a tutorial or video of a mod I personally find very cool, interesting, inspiring, unique, or just plain weird in a good way!

Found another amazing mod for you guys! If you apply some thought & ideas to this one, you can come up with some very unique and neat mods based on this. What do you think?

Well, think of the general purpose of mods.. 50% of them aren't always for a particular reason or gain.. Just like painting your case & such, it's just for personal preference.

Though, as far as his particular reason - he custom made his own wooden PC case, in a small form factor, so he didn't want to waste extra space with this. His 2nd reason is most important as to why - his PC is in a completely different room. That's why that cable is 3 meters, as he mentions.

 

I personally thought this was a fantastic and ingenious idea.

I'm planning on modding a side panel into my case, however I'm also hoping to use the CNC router at my school to perhaps etch a design into it.

Personally I really love the industrial look of the second build. You really have to concentrate to see what are the parts of the build, I love that.

 

Yeah, I like the 2nd one. That's pretty cool. I like how the GPU is a big focus point. The designer must have been a smart, smart man.

Sorry for the double post, but...

Nobody else has any unique mods to share with others. It can be something you yourself did. It can be as simple as using your XBox fan to cool your GPU. It doesn't matter!

Sound Activated LED Mod

 

Although this is not super-unique, it sure isn't done that many times. Going through the build logs, I see barely any being done.

What do you guys think of this? Don't forget, you can always turn them off!
