Posted November 20, 2022 Hi all, so I am having this issue with a work laptop not playing any sounds from chrome, edge, Spotify, etc. However, it does play audio from team's calls and so on, I have tried several things to fix it, from checking the volume settings, to checking and updating audio drivers, so I am asking for anyone's help in this in case I missed something. I did try googling the solution but the results led to one official microsoft page which the solution didn't seem to do anything. Also, sometimes if a certain application is running, like Teams probably, it takes full control and won't allow background applications access. Make sure it is fully closed or change some settings. It must be some setting. Can't help you further, I don't do conference calls on the computer.
 Tried it didn't work, surprisingly I accidentally fixed it by turning on and off the enhanced audio setting and also clicking spatial sound and using windows sonic for headphones, no idea why it worked but it did Computer Specifications: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite | ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D50 32 GB 3600 MHz | Asus RTX 3060 KO Edition | CoolerMaster Silencio S400 | Klevv Cras C700 M.2 SSD 256GB | 1TB Crucial MX500 | 1 TB SanDisk SSD | Corsair RM650W Camera Equipment: Camera Bodies: Olympus Pen-F | Panasonic GH3 (Retired) Lenses: Sigma 30mm F1.4 | Sigma 16mm F1.4 | Sigma 19mm F2.8 | Laowa 17mm F1.8 | Olympus 45mm F1.
