First desktop PC

Go to solution Solved by podkall,

It looks pretty good,

few things: idk how good the motherboard is, and PSU is good quality but the components draw less so you can save some money buying a cheaper (less W) PSU (still good quality though).

Budget (including currency): £1000

Country: Uk

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Gaming for the kids, office and a bit of Photoshop for the adults

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi all.

I am replacing my 2017 XPS laptop as the kids are starting to get into gaming. At the mo, it's just Minecraft and Pokémon type games but I know from my own experience, it's a slippery slope and they'll soon be into more graphics heavy, immersive gaming.

I've put together a build using what I've read from this forum and wondered if you could take a look and make sure I've not made a complete pigs ear of it or if there are better options.

Also, if you have any suggestions for a sub £300 monitor, that would be great.

Much obliged,

Dave

That's a decent PSU, it should be able to run well, at least the specs on the list.
