Do GPU's go on sale around black Friday?

Hello all,

 

Simple question. Do GPU's generally get discounted on black Friday? Or is it one of those product categories that never really gets a discount?

 

Seeing as the RTX 30 series and RX 6000 series pricedrops have kind of stagnated... do you expect the lowest available price for let's say a RX 6700 XT be lower around black Friday then it is now?

 

I know a lot of retailers raise the price right before black Friday to be able to say it is "discounted". That doesn't count. I'm also not interested in like a "discounted" 1050Ti or GT 1030.

I see GPU's on discount all the time, so why not on black friday. 

My brother bought a discounted 2070 on black friday a couple of years ago

they might discount, but use some price monitoring service (there's plenty around to pick from...) to see if they didnt just bump the price up 20% first before discounting it 25%...

Everything except 4000 series is already discounted especially AMD.  Prices may not fall that much further.  If you wait for stock to start drying up they may go up.
