Budget:  $150(2022)USD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

During the start of Co-Vid, I started trading the parts from my first laptop and desktop in order to build a desktop that can run games if needed, but also be somewhat of a NAS. Sometime last month I'd gotten to the point where I own enough compatible parts to build one. The Idea is to keep the hardware circa to the start of this endeavor, hence the "wait". Now my goal is get some SAS drives I acquired to work in my PC. Any suggestions on what to buy to do this? . Should I actually buy the part, or try to trade for it?

The i5-9600 doesn't support ecc memory. What would you need more than 16gb ram for?

You'll probably need an 8-port HBA and 2x SFF-8087 Host to 4 SFF-8482 Target Cables to connect the drives.

The original idea was to have the ECC if I upgraded later as they didn't have as much of a price difference, but once I got my tax return in I just got a normal desktop and a cheap NAS lol.
