I just bought and installed a 5800X 3d in my system. I Upgraded from a 5800X and I am getting extremely poor performance. 18fps in Forza, 65 fps in Fortnite.
System specs:
EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 TI
Asus B550-F GAming Wifi
32 Gb (2x16) 3200mHz cl16
Seasonic PX 750 Watt 80+ Platinum
Corsair Elite LCD 360mm AIO
Samsung 980 Pro 2Tb
Samsung 980 1Tb

I have updated the BIOS, U[date the chipset via and drivers, and installed Ryzen Master (didn't adjust anything). I have turned on D.O.C.P. and Performance Boost.
It was originally stuck on a base clock of 3400mHz, but it goes above that after the changes listed above. Still has the same poor performance. Not sure what to do.

Please help. Any suggestions are aprretiated. Thanks in advance.

May have to reinstall windows. Sounds like something got messed up pretty bad in the windows install you are currently using when you upgraded.

Generally things you have to check are if somehow Vsync got turned on, Other settings in your windows like if its on extreme power saver or some other crap. But to me it just sounds like windows may have gotten borked.
