Go for 4670k, don't go impact, bitfenix is HUGE for minitx, overkill PSU unless SLI, even then, 760watt is still fine, I don't know if the prodigy can handle an h100i, go for 8gb of ddr 1600 or 1866 ram, HDD is fine, but expensive, so I would get a 120-240gb ssd and 1tb hard drive so its cheaper overall, whats the budget and where do you live? CUrrency?

Since it's not on PCPartpicker:

Case: You get a lot smaller case if that's what you're going for

PSU: Get a WAY smaller PSU

Motherboard: Overpriced and kind of unnecessary, but good, so if you like it get it

Cooler: Good

CPU: You don't need an i7 for gaming

GPU: Good, but maybe get an EVGA card for the warranty etc and do you NEED a 780ti? Them 10fps are not worth the difference.

Memory: Not Dominator Platinum.. just no. Get Hyper X Fury

HDD: Good

I'm planning to build the following computer just for gaming.

CASE - Bitfenix Prodigy Black

PSU - Corsair 860W AX860i

BOARD  - Asus Maximus VI Impact

COOLER - Corsair Hydro Series H100i

CPU - Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5GHz

GPU - Asus GeForce GTX780 TI DirectCU II OC

MEMORY - Corsair 16GB Dominator Platinum 2x 8GB DDR3 2400MHz

HDD - Samsung 1TB EVO 840 Series

What parts would you change and why?

CASE - Bitfenix Prodigy Black -Fine

PSU - Corsair 860W AX860i -WAAAAY overkill, a 750 would still be overkill.

BOARD  - Asus Maximus VI Impact -NOPE, this is not the board you are looking for. I recommend a board like this :http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4600#ov

COOLER - Corsair Hydro Series H100i -Don't need this, a Hyper 212 EVO would be fine.

CPU - Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5GHz -How many times will this be said, "You don't need a i7 for gaming"

GPU - Asus GeForce GTX780 TI DirectCU II OC -Again, don't need this unless you want to do some crazy triple monitor gaming. Go with a 770/780

MEMORY - Corsair 16GB Dominator Platinum 2x 8GB DDR3 2400MHz -Don't need 16GB, 8 would be plenty.

HDD - Samsung 1TB EVO 840 Series -This is an SSD. Get a 250/500 GB edition instead of this and set it up as a boot drive, then buy a 1 TB HDD for everything else.

Now you're all good to go!

Raggin Fraggin Locked Gate! Oops, I mean weird white background.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Change the Prodigy out for a 250D or something, it's no longer relevant in the mITX class cause it's so massive and isn't designed with efficiency in mind.

Go for the RM650W Gold from Corsair - much more cost efficient and will still run all your parts with breathing room.

Change the RAM out for 1600/1866MHz stuff, and not Dominator Platinum if you can help it. They're massively overpriced for what they are, so just grab some Vengeance Pros.

If you're overclocking stick with the Impact, if not, drop down to another Z87 mITX board - that is, unless you're going for a black/red theme?

CASE - Good choice but I would personally choose the 250D for ITX or 350D for MATX

PSU - Could be a lower wattage
BOARD  - An ok board but is quite expensive
COOLER - Awesome cooler
CPU - Change to a 4670K for gaming
GPU - Only go for this if its above 1080P gaming

MEMORY - Drop down to 8GB unless you plan to render or are an extreme multitasker
HDD - Get a 250GB or 500GB version and a whatever TB HDD to go along with it to store games.

The budget is unlimited since I will pick part by part with time.

I live in Portugal and the currency here is €.

I must have a Bitfenix Prodigy, no way i'm changing the case. :P

I'm picking the Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5GHz because I want to have CPU for the next 10 years.

A Corsair H100 fits in the Bitfenix Prodigy, why wouldn't a H100i fit?

I know the PSU is a bit over-kill, but I want PSU for 10 years, so when it work at lower efficiency it will not stress so much the electronics.

For the Motherboard I want to go with Asus because i'm happy with them products.

I'm planning to Overclock the CPU to around 4.5GHz.

About the memory I know that 8 GB would be plenty, but again i'm planning to build a computer for the next 10 years. :P

And i would pick higher frequency if it was available in my country, but 2400MHz is the highest i can get. :(

System 1: Thermaltake Element Q - Thermaltake 220W SFX - Asus AT5IONT-I mini-ITX - Intel® Atom™ D525 onboard 1.8GHz Dual-Core HT - Integrated NVIDIA® ION™ - 2x 2GB Kingston DDR3 - Samsung 120GB 840 Series - Scythe Kama Rack 3.5 - Asus DVD-RW

System 2: Thermaltake Element Q - Thermaltake 220W SFX - Asus E2KM1I-DELUXE mini-ITX - AMD E2-2000 onboard 1.75GHz Dual-Core - Integrated AMD® Radeon HD 7340 - 2x 4GB Kingston DDR3 - Samsung 120GB 840 Series - Scythe Kama Rack 3.5 - Asus DVD-RW

Building: Bitfenix Prodigy Black - Corsair AX860i - Asus Maximus VII Impact - Corsair Hydro Series H100i - Intel® Core™ i7 4790K - Asus Matrix Platinum GTX 980 4GB - Corsair 16GB Dominator Platinum 2x 8GB DDR3 2400MHz CL10 - Samsung 1TB EVO 840 Series

I think 10 years is a bit over estimating... I would give that rig 5 or 6 years most, and by that time, you're probably going to want/need another rig.

Trust me, 2400 Mhz RAM isn't very much better than 1600 or 1866 Mhz.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

Ok, maybe 10 years is a lot, but at least 5 years, I want to have a computer that can still perform something.

What parts would you change and why?

psu I'd say is very good but if you can find a 660-760w try going into that. bitfenix prodigy mini itx case is pretty good I use one my self the white one.

SSD- samsung 1tb evo is agood choice. I'd say put a 2nd one or if it's too expensive put a 2tb caviar red for music and videos. while your ssd manage all games.

all of them are good just I would advice to add a hdd 2tb or 4tb for music and videos or other note pad files which is not worth putting on an ssd.

ssd = os and games and other standard program on C.

hdd = music, films, recordings yada yada.

although my stand for the gigabyte z87 or z77n wifi mini itx board to be very decent. I use the h77n for my i3 with 780 ti.

Live your life like a dream.

I have a 8 TB NAS 2x 4TB WD RED and a D-Link DNS-325, I don't need HDD's in my computers, I have 3 computers and all have SSD's.

1 TB SSD will be fine for all the games i will play.

I must go with a Asus board, it will be my 4th Asus board, and I think they're good enough.
