I have an id cooling se 224 XT and i also bought I'd cooling xf 120025 to add onto the heatsink as an exhaust fan.Currently the OG fan that's pulling the cool air goes up to 1400 rpm during gaming and the exhaust fan almost always stays between 800-900.Can this rpm setup damage the life of the fans?my temps are fine im just wondering if the fast fan could damage the slow one or vice.versa

Also fans are dirt cheap and they should usually last >5 years so i wouldnt really be concerned about fan health since theyre cheap to replace

Could this setup cause one of the fans to vibrate?

And also is it okay if I plug the exhaust fan to the system fan header on the motherboard?

Imagine your cooler for a sec, the intake's air would hit the heat sinks and fins first before reaching the exhaust, therefore the amount of air decreases with each obstacle. It will be fine.

And yes, it is fine, fan is a fan, it's affects the readings in your system.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.

When the fans are spinning, they'll inevitably vibrate, the lesser the better they're blanced and the better their bearings are and the lesser the slower they spin.  Where else would you plug the fan in if not into the fan header on the mainboard?

Unless your fans are broken or damaged or don't provide sufficient cooling or are too loud, you don't need to worry about them.  Just clean out the dust like once a year or how ever frequent it is needed, depending on the environmental dust levels.

Well the CPU fan is plugged to the cpu fan header however the exhaust fan on the CPU heatsink is connected to the system fan header

Perhaps you can modify the fans to a 2-wired setup and connect them in parallel to the CPU fan connector.  Connecting them 3-wirely in parallel probably won't work because it's unlikely that their speed could be read that way.  If you have decent fans, you can connect them to 12V and have them run at full speed without them being too loud; the only disadvantage may be that they'll pull more dust and perhaps consume a bit more electricity.
