Should I upgrade to Windows 11 22H2

remnant_91

I'm currently running wi down 10 on my gaming rig

Build

  • Asus b550m tuf gaming mobo
  • Ryzen 9 3900x
  • Asus rtx 3070 dual oc
  • 32 gb 3200 mhz ram (4x8)

And the upgrade is free for now anyway and I'm assuming it's been out long enough now to work out all the bugs so should I upgrade?

I don't see any reason you shouldn't upgrade, but I also don't see any reason to upgrade. If you like the new UI go for it, but otherwise I don't think it's worth the effort to upgrade.

Just make sure you have a back up, the in place upgrade isn't perfect, and for the best results you should just do a clean install

If windows 10 works fine, dont do it. Windows 11 is a little bit buggy and slightly slower.

Just wait for 12, 11 isnt worth the effort right now.

It seems like every other windows version microsoft screws things up.

Like how 8/8.1 and vista were really bad but 7 was good, and 10 was decent.

If everything works and your happy, NO.

Is there something that you can't presently do that the allow you to then YES.

But for 99.999% of users not named Bill Gates, NO.
