Corsair VS Series VS600 with a 2060

Budget (including currency):

Country: Mexico

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  AAA Videogames with medium-high graphics / small-scale video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hi everyone!

Today I found a pretty good deal on a brand new Corsair VS Series VS600 with an Asus DUAL-RTX2060-O6G-EVO but I am a little concerned about the Corsair with that GPU. Do you think it is good enough for the GPU?

I will love to get all your feedback. I bought my computer pre-assembled and this is the first time I'll make it an upgrade

Thank you!

Any good 650 watt psu will be more than enough for a 2060. do you already own this card or are you purchasing it now? What country are you buying from?

For the 2060 a good 550W or greater unit would be good.

For a 2060 SUPER you would wanna go a bit higher than that, around 650W I would say.

For futureproofing, given how more power hungry new CPUs and GPUs are and given that the price difference isn't really all that great - if you're buying new - I would get a 750W or an 850W Gold or Platinum rated power supply.

You haven't included a budget though, so here are some rough recommendations:

@Antonio DominguezThat Silverstone that @GameRetrosuggested as the first of their list is much higher rated than your Corsair VS on the Cultist's list and pretty budget friendly.

https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

Budget and location would help people find you suggestions though.

Edited by IkeaGnome
Could have specified which Silverstone I meant.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Def follow the PSU Tier List that @IkeaGnomeposted.  Stick with Tier B or better.

550W or better will be plenty for a 2060 build.

Twas already suggested to them in a different thread. @GameRetrowas nice enough to make them a list of a few units though.

Any 550W model from Tier A or B. Local pricing varies a fair bi.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

If you have access to Riotoro Enigma G2 power supplies in Mexico (sorry if I assume they are a Spanish/Mexican brand based on the name) they are actually rebranded and (they at least used to be) cheaper Seasonic power supplies.  Specifically they are 100% rebranded Seasonic Focus Plus which is a heck of a PSU for the money Riotoro was charging for it as late as last year.
