Nvidia resize

gammatsunami

This is probably a dumb question but I am not super familiar with how to do this. I know how to change the size of the screen, but that changes the resolution.

I use a 55 inch oled TV and a monitor and lots of times it is too big. Instead of buying a 42 inch, I thought is it possible to resize it to the size of a 42, but keep the 4k resolution?

Is this possible?

You get 4K (3840x2160) pixels because that's physically what the display consists of.

If you want to use less than the whole area of the screen you'll be cropping into that, so keeping 4K resolution makes no sense.

Figured it out, here are the settings to use incase anyone in future wants to do this.

Makes it look much sharper.

Set ingame window mode to borderless widescreen.
