And I think you should be using TMPIN1.

Hello, I have an fx 8350, and for some reason I am not able to see the right temperatures with any software. HWinfo64 say my cpu is at 8.9 degrees celcius, and coretemp says its at 11. Even in the motherboard bios, the temperature fluctuates and jumps up and down randomly, any help would be appreciated.

 

 

Edit: I thought I should mention the rest of my rig

 

mobo: ga990fxa ud3

 

psu: gx 750

 

gpu: 7970 ghz

 

cpu heatsink: nzxt havik 140 with sp 120's on it

 

case: cooler master strom scout

This is a common problem with AMD processors, they apparently have crappy temp. sensors.

I believe there is certain software that works, but  don't have an AMD so I wouldn't know.

AMD temp sensors suck. Use the one that's labeled CPUTIN.
