rgb keyboard malfunction

i have the ROG strix flare and honestly its good but asus's software is so bad. I usually keep my rgb off but from last night a  very faint red colored light keeps emitting from the "2" and "d" key and a little from the side bar. i checked the software and as usual there was an update i updated it too but its still there. HOW DO I FIX IT T_T

is there a good alternative for armoury crate??
