Do we have any information on the type of ram the new 7000 series will prefer?

atavax

I see a lot of reivews with benchmarks, not helping me know what ram I should be pairing with it other than obviously ddr5.

AMD has released it's own XMP-type standard called EXPO (open and transparent standard) so RAM with EXPO labelling will be ideal for Ryzen 7000

Nearly all of them talk about the preference for DDR5-6000. We found out about a month ago.

A new hynix die revision (A-die) looks like it's going to do much better latencies and frequency than current kits, performance is also not directly linked to the IF clocks being an even fraction of your ram speed so it can theoretically scale as high as you can push timings and frequency.

8086k Winner BABY!!

Personally, I'd be really after some G. Skill Trident Z5 Neo... Built for Ryzen, with sweet clocks and timings...
