Hi guys, I have an asus vg34vql1b, had it for about 1.5 years now.

It has a green spot top right, not sure if that is something I need to worry about. On black its definitely the most severe, on white its very faint, but it's permanently there, not sure why, this is not OLED so can't be burn in? Can it?

I am not sure if this is something fixable or if it has to go for warranty, it has a 36 month warranty.

I've not seen something like this before, I mean usually screens fail, like completely no?
I did try playing with some color profiles etc a bit but it didn't seem to do anything.

Try a different cable first.  If the issue still persists initiate a warranty claim

Hi everyone, it was RMA'd, like within 4 hours I had a new one. When I turned on the new screen I realized how bad the screen burn really was. This new screen looks darker, on the old panel some spots were like brighter white almost like when you crack some monitors theres like a while film on top?

So I wonder what caused this, I still have 23 months left on warranty.

Is the screen too bright? Getting too hot? It's 165hz and HDR (albeit an entry lvl one)

The only thing I can think of damaging it externally as a factor, could be my fan, I have my desk fan running about 8 hours a day facing my screen and myself. But I mean that should cool it down, so idk.

Just don't want it to happen again.

Asus was awesome though.
