Not really, but some more options got added. Having more choices would definitely be nice, not to mention newly found problems in some PSUs.

On top of quite a decent amount of new PSUs, there were some significant changes in methodology, some new things learned, more info learned, etc. A ton of PSUs got shuffled around.

That PSUs last long doesn't mean there's not progress and change xD Quite the opposite we're coming upon the biggest change for PSUs in 20 years later this year (biggest change that's actually getting implemented and impacting everyone*).

Have you tried overclocking ? Are you on the edge?

i9 9900KF is OCed to 5GHz allcore,

RTX 3090 is also OCed slightly (+750 mem聽+150 core), but limited to 350W

I decided to do with Corsair RMX 1000W Gold, just to be on the safe side.聽
My sis lives like 300km away, so I'm not gonna be troubleshooting for her. Better be on the safe side, besides costwise they were almost the same here. 850W vs 1000W 馃榿
