Hullo,

Just interested to see how everyone's internet deals/plans/speed is wherever you are.

In Australia, I know that mine currently sucks balls, 25gb at 7mbps. However, there are other plans with more data and faster speeds available, it's just that my parents have no 'need' for a faster internet, so they wouldn't upgrade, partly because they've never experienced it.

So, is your internet plan good? or is a a soggy ball sack? and what country/city are you in?

T_T

So sad to see that everyone has such good internet, my main gripe is the datacap, coz I have to ask "how much data do we have left?" before I start downloading a game, in case it tips it over.

I live in Shanghai, China. Ours it 16 Mbit down 25 Mbit up. Actually fine. But that only really works for content in China, connection to outside is a LOT crappier. VPN is a MUST also since it makes it better as it is not filtered and connection from the server in the US is pretty much unlimited.

ATROCIOUS I HATE IT 30down/ 3 up but get's throttled to 1 at like noon. virgin media sucks balls should also be getting 60 down / 6 up but again... virgin media worst ISP GLOBAL

Virgin Media only throttle when you download over a certian ammount during peak times. There is no way that they would throttle you down to 1mbps intentionally. You are likely in a over utilised area. They will likely need to schedule a Cat C resegmentation for your problem to be fixed, and they will only do it if lots of people form your area complain. Try contacting their support.
