this is my current setup

i need/want to upgrade slowly the 3 main things (feel free to suggest any other upgrades you might think work) my CPU (and also motherboard ) and my GPU

i was thinking of upgrading my GPU first as i think its one of the main reasons why im not able to play games due to the 2058 VRAM i can only run at medium setting if lucky

my CPU would happen later this with another motherboard as i was thinking of a 5600x

(also i know i should get a cpu cooler instead of stock fan but tbh i havent OC and temps seem normal for now )

Your CPU options are limited without a motherboard upgrade, so that's where I'd start. With an A320, 3rd gen is about as far as you can go, and you'll need BIOS updates for that. And those BIOS updates have been known to compromise by dropping support for certain PCIe devices to support the 3rd gen Ryzen. Also, I personally wouldn't recommend running a 5000-series on a B450 board, either. Not that it can't be done, but I don't see it being viable long-term. VRM and VRM cooling are important on 5000-series.

All that said, I would save up and do it all at once as opposed to here and there.

I run the Asus Tuf B550-PLUS. It's about $150 on Amazon right now, and should be able to run any 5000-series. It's very picky about RAM, though, so be sure to consult its QVL list on Asus' website. I use Patriot Viper 4 Blackout (PVB432G320C6K), about $100. Patriot Viper Steel offers the same SKU with similar pricing. A 5600X is about $170 on Amazon right now. This board, processor and RAM would probably total about $435 with tax.

Additionally, a 5600X will be within limits with a stock AMD Wraith, but I would recommend a Scythe Mugen 5S, they're great coolers for the money (about $60). A Fuma might cool a 5600X just as well, however, but pricing can vary, I see them around $85.

My 5900X build screams with this board and RAM. A 5600X should offer the same performance. Be aware that the board may need a BIOS update for 5000-series compatibility, but mine (produced Jan 2022, ordered Mar 2022) did not.

Then I would be looking at a 1650, 1650 OC or maybe a 1660ti if you have the PSU for it. That's another factor to consider. Also, the RAM SKU (part #) is what matters with QVL. No way to validate full compatibility without that. I also would disclaim here that the current setup may have issues with these cards, as I had memory issues lock out a similar GPU upgrade a couple years ago.

@aryanpall

REVISED: I would stick with a 1650 or 1650 OC then. You might be able to get away with a 6+2 power 1650S or 1660ti (I did with a 500W Channel Well Technologies PSU in a Cyberpower prebuilt), but check the card specs against projected load of the other components (PCPartPicker is pretty good about estimating this when it has the correct information). Some of these cards require 6+2 power, others don't, but I haven't seen a huge difference between the output of a 1650S-4GB-OC that did, and a GTX1650OC that didn't.

The Asus Phoenix GTX1650-OC and TUF GTX1650S-4GB-OC are excellent choices for the right price.
