so I couldn't find any threads like this so...

 

what's your oldest, every-day peripheral

 

I have just noticed that my sidewinder X8 mouse has gotten to the point where their are points where it's suppose to be mat black, have become shinny

 

and my dad has been using the same mouse and keyboard for his tower that is older than I can remember (literally, he had it longer than I can remember) and the keyboard misses keystrokes on a regular basses, and the rubber scroll wheel on his mouse scrolls so hard that you are always accidentally middle clicking trying to scroll. and he praises it for lasting so long and refuses to buy new peripherals

 

so I was wondering what's your oldest daily driver?

Got some old Dell speakers that came with a dimension desktop back when the first flat panel lcds came out. 

No idea what the model on them are but they're rockin! 2.1 system that sounds great and is STILL incredibly loud!

I have a 1991 Dell Keyboard. 

 

I don't use it on my gaming desktop however it gets used everyday on my windows 97/MSDOS machine.

same here, they came with an old dell dimension something or other. still sound good, and they can go insanely loud. The sub is giant though

All the peripherals I use are fairly new. I think the oldest thing I use is my Filco keyboard, which is around 4 years of age now.

IKR? why does it sound clog sometimes?

I have speakers that I got used for free that were made in 2002 or so and are using a power brick from a router to power them... that is how i got them and how they have stayed even though the power brick puts out more power then the speakers want lol

Oldest peripheral that  is still in use is the keyboard I'm typing this on. It's a Gigabyte Aivia Osmium, which is only a few years old, but will be getting replaced soon with a Ducky Shine 3.
