is this good for video editing

hi. is a i7 3770 good for 1080p/1440p video editing (16gb ddr3,gtx 650ti.asrock p65icafe mobo)

Entirely depends on how big and complex your edits are gonna be. Some simple gameplay footage edited for a YouTube video? Sure. Some professional production? Probably not. Also what ur using to edit and how well it runs is a huge factor.

want to do maby some short skits and gaming video at 1080p

I wouldn't say it's good but you can definitely edit on it. Encoding project may take a while depending on how big it is.

Should be fine. I could edit on my i3 550, it's just the rendering that took a while. Actually too long. 1 min took 10 minutes to render. Not that well founded on rendering times and how it scales with threads and CPU speeds.

so i have i5 3470. is it good. cause i could save some money
