Quick!!! Need recommendation for good, reliable external HDD?

Haven't heard of any scandals or particularly bad batches lately, so I would say any that fits your budget and capacity wishes should do the trick. Durability depends on what you mean. I carry them around in my backpack regularly, but they simply aren't made to throw around carelessly so you'll always have to keep that in mind.

I've always had good luck with WD Blue drives, so that's my 2¢
