Laptop game crashing issues.

By No means is my laptop a gaming laptop, it barely runs minecraft very well. but one game it can run that I play is star trek online, but recently its been crashing. i dont understand why. And its gotten to the point where when i open the game within 10 seconds it crashes. can anyone help me with this? I've noticed it gets very very very hot when i play it, upwards of 90'C. I would replace the thermal paste but I can't open the laptop. Any help is welcome.

AMD A10 PRO-7350B R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G
4 Cores

AMD Radeon R7 Graphics

(upgraded from 4gb) 12gb ram

let me ellaborate on the crashes, so ill be playing and all of a sudden it freezes. and then theres like colours or something as if its a memory problem or something. in my expierience that normally what that means. then the whole laptop locks up and normally i restart the pc by hard powering it off. but this one time it just didnt work i left it on that screen for about half an hour then gave up and didconnected the battery. and that was that it works for everything else like genral usage and youtube (Barely 1080p)
