Just ignore it, it's just windows being windows, if there is an update, it will automatically update itself.

My pc says it's not up to date and doesn't provide update options. I used windows 10 update assistant but no difference. Please see attached screenshot. I clicked check for updates and this screen comes again.

you can ignore that if checking for update comes up blank. 

 

It usually goes away on its own.
