Please rank these GPUs so I can buy the right one

GrampaBob

Hi, I'd like some assistance ranking these cards so I can buy one in confidence.  I'd like a 3080 or Ti GPU with good cooling and reasonably quiet for 1440p gaming (not ultra wide).  I actually have not yet played a single game since I bought my 5700XT a few years ago (I wanted to play Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk), but I want to get back into gaming.  I don’t need to wait for the 4000 series as I'm a casual gamer but would like to try NVIDIA moving forward.

I also need a PSU because my 650 won’t do it but hopefully that will be easier to figure out.

EVGA RTX 3080 (or Ti) FTW3 Ultra Gaming 12GB

MSI  RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO 12GB

MSI  RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio 12GB

ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 3080 (or Ti) OC 12GB

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3080 (or Ti) 12GB

Thanks for any help.  I have a Fractal Mesh C case so MAX GPU length 315mm with front fans

Either EVGA or Asus TUF, your choice.

Speaking from experience, the Asus TUF one I have which is an RX 6800 XT, does pretty damn well, cooling wise.

I will almost always advocate for EVGA cards over anything else, if for no other reason than their customer service is top tier.

EVGA Ftw3 has one of the best coolers for cards, looks nice, and i've had good support with them over the years whether it be PSU, gpu, or even keyboard.

You're sort of giving the impression you think that a 3080 and a 3080 ti are practically interchangeable. They're not.

Any 3080 ti will outperform any non-ti 3080. No, it doesn't matter whether it's the 10GB or 12GB non-ti 3080.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Oh no, they are close enough in money ballpark-wise is what I meant.  Perhaps coolers arent as good on the Ti versions or are louder maybe then their 3080 counterparts.  I dont think I'd notice a performance difference between regulars and Ti as I dont OC (casual gamer) but less noise and cooling for longevity is better for my needs.

Modern GPUs are really flexible in their operations. You won't be noticing a huge difference in noise level, or any difference at all really, between two similar coolers on two similar cards.

If the 3080 and 3080 TI are close in price, get the TI. It has more cuda cores.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
