Where do you get your Modding Supplies from?

Hello All,

 

I, am a Modder. Well, Ex-Modder. It's been several years since I actually put the axe to grindstone and made a mod for a PC. However as time wore on the itch to dremel down a rig has grown significantly. I used to use MNPCTech.com and Xoxide.com to get all my modding supplies from. However, Times have changed and dinosaurs like me are being outmoded by companies and corporations doing my job for me. So now my question is for modders nowadays. Where do you get your supplies from? And by supplies I mean Mesh, Case Feet, Rubber Trim, Large Grommets, Power buttons, Etc.

For the mesh and powerbuttons i can get em from my local eshop here in indo but unsure about other regions, though what do you mean by mesh? Not sure where to get the fine mesh stuff but mosquito mesh is dirt cheap for how much of it you get, works pretty well for a sidepanel on a case with abysmal airflow

 

 

Though it gives a more industrial look esp with the magnets i use but hey 2$ for a 1m x 1m sheet aint bad

Since 2010, Mnpctech ventured into doing custom PC builds & PC mods as giveaway to promote new PC hardware or PC game expansions and new releases. I just finished this Corsair 500T iCue RGB case mod for Corsair's new HQ. I don't think NILS would like how "out there" my builds have been since the Phenom build, Is he still running MDPC and doing sleeving orders?

Since it was requested. Here are some pictures of what Ive been working on for the past couple months. Its a custom PSU basement for my Thermaltake F31 Suppressor. Its made from 14 Gauge Steel and houses the PSU, Wires, Hoses, Pump, Reservoir, and drives when its all done. I cut all the holes with varying degrees of success but for the first of its kind, I think I did pretty good. I hope you like it!

major props for this, 14 gauge is a huge challenge to bend like that, How did you do it?

I had a local shop cut and bend it for me. I sent them a picture that I drew with all the measurements.
