1. im not risking to break any of the macs components that came with it wenn i bought it

2. wdym modded? i upgraded the ram. and windows is supported with boot camp and it actualy works not like with a 1.1 model.

3. where can they be found like and what cables do i need? just standart ones?

There should be pcie power sockets behind the gpu

Cables basically any that are compatible with the 4.1 or 5.1. There are plenty around on ebay/amazon.

I thought you first did a casemod but just in case also listed the standard stuff of the 4.1

So i have a macpro4.1 running windows and i want to get my two zotac geforce 8800 to run in it. problem is macs dont have 6 pin power cables. Any recomendation for a 500w power supply that i can have outside of my case?

Any reason for it being outside? Why not replace the internal unit. An sfx unit fits with ease. Atx with some modding too.

Or is this like a non modded windows mac?

If so the 4.1 has 2 pcie 6+2 pin headers available on thr board for pcie power and you just need the cable to use em
