Graphics Card - Finding a Fault

Hello.

 

I finally got an RTX3070 its refurbished but with a warranty and am very happy but only a few hours in it crashed twice in games and was crashing instantly in 3d mark stress test

 

Blank Screen or Frozen screen, computer locked.

DWM crashing in the event log.

 

I reseated the card and its managed to pass the stress tests multiple times. I'm just a bit worried and if there is a problem I want to find it while I got the warranty, if anyone has any advise on what I can do to thoroughly test it then it would be appreciated. I've been running the Port Royale and Time Spy stress tests so far.

 

Also my PSU is a gold Focus 650w, was worried this might not be enough but seems ok?

I too have a 3070 and its running on a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 650W (SSR-650FX) and even though everything in my system is overclocked its running fine. Have you monitored temperatures? What specific card is this?

Its an Aorus 3070, I think the temperatures are ok it idles around 40 degrees C and highest it got under stress tests was 73 degrees C.

 

Honestly at this stage it appears to be smooth running, I'm just worried knowing it did have issues that it might be something that'll come back once the cards out of warranty. Just want to cross off any possibilities before its too late.
