Oppo and OnePlus stops phone sales in Germany following Nokia lawsuit due to 5G patent

Oppo and its subsidiary OnePlus have stopped selling smartphones and smartwatches through their German online stores. The product withdrawal follows defeats in two SEP cases at the Regional Court Munich. If this holds it could spread to the whole EU and inclusive Norway

 

Summary

 Oneplus and Oppo have not paid patent licenses fee to nokia for use of there 5g patents. They have now temporarly stops sales in germany.
