Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

I think my boot drive is about to kick the bucket due to the drive disk checking every time before windows boots and when I restart. I am looking for a 250 gb ssd or higher. I don't care if it's a sata or M.2 drive. What drive should I get?

What's your mobo ? Needed to know if and what M2 you can use
