I had a power surge recently and i had to get a new psu, after connecting all the wires everything turns on except the gpu, the fans aren’t spinning and it’s not displaying anything on the screen, i’m worried the gpu might have been killed by the power surge even though all my other parts are fine. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

ignore the cables i’m just trying to get it to work then i’ll manage it.

Possibly relevant additional context:

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

i’ve already fixed that issue.

You connected a mystery cable to a mystery header because it "fit" so not necessarily.

Bruh the thing is not even secured... not sure how much I trust the quality of this build especially when you were just randomly plugging things into whatever fits...

Try a different PCIe slot that will fit a full sized card and if it doesn't post, it's likely toast.

In fairness, I wouldn't bother with the screws on the PCIe bracket either if I was removing the GPU and putting it back in a lot for troubleshooting. It shouldn't make a difference.

I mean yea... though the card torquing the heck out of the PCIe slot isn't going to help when troubleshooting a no video scenario. At least put one screw in since it's sagging to almost the next slot down.
