Nope, that's the Release Candidate this is the final WHQL release.

It is a repost, they're exactly the same.

No they are not. A Release Candidate is not a WHQL signed driver. If you wish to use the other drivers go ahead, but I suggest people to actually use the final release version.

I was saying your posts are exactly the same, apart from the link to the driver.

I always post the release notes, tho doesn't rule the thread as a re-post. If I was posting about the release candidate, sure then it would be a re-post. It seems to me you did a quick search and made the assumption that this is also a beta driver when in fact it is the WHQL release.

Have any of you guys with crossfire tried it yet? I updated a machine with 2 7870's and performance tanked. Crysis 3 with vsync was fixed at 60 fps no problem (at ultra) after update it had a hard time maintaining 24 fps. I also tried unigine heaven and that had about half performance as well (or less). I am now back to 13.9 and performance is back to how it was supposed to be.

The file downloaded from AMD's website also contains .NET libraries to be installed, that's why!

The release notes for the WHQL 14.4 release don't list my A6-5200 APU as a compatible product, but the RC1 14.4 release notes do.

I wonder if they just havent updated the notes to include all the compatible products? The list on the RC1 release is quite detailed and more extensive than the latest WHQL notes.
