I live 10 miles from one and the only time I buy from them is if they have what im looking for in store. Plus its kind of fun going into a place were you can geek out and not feel weird about doing it lol.

Who cares if the thing dies or whines on you. OC the heck out of it, XFX are the only ones that offer a double lifetime warranty. I have had zero problems with my card. Ive had it for a couple of months. Volts are locked. Other than that, no complaints.

I'm glad that the prices are going back to normal on the cards. At $399, the card truly shines.

Tigerdirect is the only somewhat decent computer store I have near me, and I've never had any trouble with them. Granted I've only bought a handful of items from them.

I have the XFX 280x and can confirm the VRM temps are over 9000º (can't complain since it was a gift from AMD Roy :P).

If they do, it's only on select models...

My R9 270X has a two year warranty. No more. Though I do think it's still an "End User" warranty.

You should check with their technical support. I was under the same assumption. The technical support rep sent me an email saying that it is indeed a 2x lifetime warranty. The warranty information is no longer advertised on the box, but check to make sure.
