i7-3770 FCLGA1155 CPU Compatible with LGA1155 Cooler?

My Friend needs a new CPU Cooler he has an i7-3770, intel arc says that this CPU uses the FCLGA1155 Socket. I was looking at the "be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 2" CPU cooler, the cooler is only compatible with "LGA 1155" Socket. Will it still work?

As already stated, it will work.

 

FCLGA1155 is essentially just the full name for LGA1155, they're the same thing. FC just stands for Flip Chip (Land Grid Array) if you were curious.

 

EDIT: All LGA115x coolers will work on all LGA115x sockets by the way. So even if you move platform, as long as the socket begins with LGA115 it will fit.
