  • o11 air mini, 400 mm x 288 mm x 384 mm (L / W / H)
  • nr400, 411 mm x 210 mm x 411 mm (L / W / H)

base on the above specs, o11 air mini should be slightly thicker & shorter

i would say it's definitely an upgrade from yer nr400

  1. more options to mount 240/280 aio
  2. o11 air mini will provide more air to yer gpu if u add fans below

example build from reddit (using atx mobo)

Lately I've been seriously considering upgrading my case to an O11 air mini, but I've heard that despite its name, it can be a bit big even for a standard ATX case. My motherboard is only MATX, and I'd prefer to have a case that doesn't take up a lot of room.

My question is if anyone has any pictures of it next to a more traditional MATX pc case (I can't seem to find pictures of this anywhere online). Additionally, if any of you have switched from a standard MATX case to it or vice versa, I would love to hear your thoughts about its size.

I mean, you can just look up the dimensions of the cases you're looking at. The Focus G Mini (first mATX style case I that came to mind) is 464 mm x 205 mm x 383 mm. The O11 Air Mini is 400 mm x 288 mm x 384 mm. The O11 is a bit wider but a bit shorter and the same length.

What? That is such an open ended question. You need to be far more precise. For example, what is a traditional matx case? There isn't really something that fits that description. As @RONOTHAN## said, just look up the dimensions, and go from there.

You can also try this site, but I don't know if they have the cases you want to look at. You'd probably have to put in the custom size.

What's "a lot of room"?

I just swapped into the Air Mini, coming from a Corsair 4000X and it is quite a bit shorter, but wider side to side. I really like how it looks, but that's all subjective.

You could always grab some foam board and mock up the outside dimensions and see if it's "too big" for your space.

it’s squat and wide. Don’t know how else to put it. I’ve got one and it’s much shorter but a good bit wider than my SL600M which is an ATX mid tower
