Custom heatsink possible?

GabrielStudios

I was wondering if it was possible to create a custom heatsink for your gpu for (exp: water cooling, single slot config) or maybe fully customize your gpu to be what you exactly want like lets say convert your fan into a blower gpu. (Not talking about high end gpus. too risky) I mean decent gpus that you feel like customizing.

Anything is possible. Just depends on your skills or your pockets. Plenty of people put CPU coolers on GPUs.

Is it possible? Sure. Is it easy? No.

You'll either need the funds to contract someone to do it for you, or the skills and tools to make one yourself.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

Thing is you can't really manufacture a heatsink or a waterblock at home...

Best solution to improve temps and reduce card size is to watercool them, but using bought products.

If were talking those garbage sunflower coolers then even a copper core 775 cooler would be an upgrade (need zipties for mounting), if were talking voltmodded high end gpu then just slap a cpu block on the gpu die and cool the rest of the card with a fan

Yea no you wont be making a heatsink or waterblock at home and even if you do its prob gonna be meh at best, you can paint stuff and make custom shrouds tho
