just a casual gamer 1080, 60fps, medium settings are just fine for me.

i am not planning to replace whole system for another 2-3 year.

not planning to overclock

since new Ryzen CPUs will be out in next 6months are CPU prices going back to normal

Q. if replacing Ryzen3 2200G with Ryzen5 5600X is worth it ? with 5600x I get windows 11 and 20 some fps gain in normal games, little more in CPU heavy games.

Yes, it is. But, in your case, a Ryzen 5 5500 or 3600 would perhaps be even better when it comes to price/performance.

Yes, the 5600X is much better and, depending on how much you want to spend, worth it.

They are slowly going to normal. It also depends on when they are good deals. Like, they raised up the price on Corsair hx-850 which was sale for $155. Now it is back up to 175.

If your motherboard allows the processor, then go for it.
